What Is Narrow One?
Narrow One is a free multiplayer medieval-style bow-and-arrow first-person shooter built around 5v5 capture-the-flag battles. You steal the enemy flag, defend your own castle, and fight entirely with bows, crossbows and melee weapons — no guns. It runs directly in your browser with no download, and it is also available on Android and Steam.
The game launched in April 2021 and is developed by Pelican Party Studios, a two-person team (Jesper & Jurgen) from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Despite the tiny team, it has earned a 4.2 rating from more than 847,000 players on Poki and a 4.6/5 rating on itch.io.
What keeps players hooked is depth: 6 bow classes with distinct roles, more than 50 melee weapons, 17 maps each hiding a secret fruit easter egg, and over 200 unlockable cosmetic items. Weekly rotating gamemodes like Bows Only keep the meta fresh.
